Ngueweul Rhythm : Created in 1998 by Cheikh Ma Djimbira Ndiaye aka Ndigueul Mc.

A group composed of ten Senegalese musicians who strive to seek peace in Casamance, offering original music from a synthesis of percussion. The group mixes the sounds of Casamance and mbalax.

​

Their musical genre highlights the Wolof sabar, the Diola bougarabou, the Mandingo seoruba, the Oualo tama, the baye fall khine, the Moorish tabala, the African djembe, the Xalam and the Mandingo kora.

Ngueweul Rhythm has brought together Senegalese traditional instruments in a single rhythm,
entitled: African Savane Music.

​

They have been designated the official troupe of the Sahel Festival.
